Diese Faszination – und auch einige EvD-Bücher – hat er von seinem Vater und Grossvater vererbt bekommen. Dank der Tatsache, dass seine Eltern gerne reisen, war es ihm schon früh möglich, viele der spannenden Orte zu besuchen, über die Erich von Däniken in seinen Büchern schreibt. Dazu gehören unter anderem die Pyramiden von Gizeh, Sakkara, Machu Picchu oder Nazca mit seinen Scharrzeichnungen.
